A moderated panel presentation addressing the global issue of migration including complex and interwoven issues of migration, reverse migrations, displacement, gentrification, transnationalism from a historical to a contemporary perspective.

Panelists include: C. Brian Williams, founder of Step Afrika! and Howard Dodson, former Chief of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York, and most recently Director of Howard University Libraries and Director of Moorland-Spingarn Research Center and Library System, and author of numerous books and publications, including: Jubilee: The Emergence of African-American Culture, In Motion: The African-American Miågration Experience, Lest We Forget: The Triumph over Slavery, and Becoming American: The African-American Journey.
