As a part of its ongoing Dance Program, NBAF offers a day-long program in partnership with the High Museum of Art that spotlights young choreographers, dancers and rising stars who are defining and shaping the new direction of dance in Atlanta. Within the framework of “talk/conversation/demonstration” featured presenters Juel D. Lane, dancer, choreographer and film director, Kenya Griffin, Founder of the Amazing Grace Dance Company and Daryl Foster, Founder/Director of Lift, will discuss their creative process, approach, the current state of dance and choreography, works in progress, and focus their presentations on audience engagement and participation and on performances and workshop/ demonstrations.
